Blue Starz started in 2011, with one just one student, little 3yr old Elle, in a small studio in Sherman Oaks.  Fast forward a few years and Blue Starz Dance & Theatre is now one of the San Fernando Valley’s leading dance and drama studios for young performers, welcoming 300 plus students in over 45 classes a week!  We offer everything from dance to musical theatre classes, from camps to drop-off parties, and even kid's yoga!

Our mission at Blue Starz is to provide the foundations of a performing arts education for children as young as 18 months, up to 12 years old.  We're all about your beautiful performers falling in love with dance and drama, whilst nurturing them from little people with BIG imaginations, to slightly bigger people who've grown inside and out, making some life long memories along the way. 

We're often the first stop for many children in their journey of performing arts, and we're proud to offer weekly classes that are recreational in a non-competitive environment.  We recognize that some of our students, as they get older, may express a desire to train and compete on a more 'full-time' basis.  In this situation we work closely with a couple of nearby studios to help find your family and child the best fit for their next journey in dance.
